“The Macroeconomic & Fiscal Path in Greece During the Economic Adjustment Programmes: 2010-2018”| DigiTalk No2

The European Commission has assigned two international organisations – the National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR) and the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) – to conduct a study on the macroeconomic and fiscal policy in Greece during the economic adjustment programmes.

The Economic Chamber of Greece responding to its institutional role as the State’s advisor in issues related to the economy and in a effort to contribute to public speech, will be organising an online presentation of the above mentioned study entitled: “The macroeconomic and fiscal path in Greece during the economic adjustment programmes: 2010-2018”.

The results of the study will be presented online by the CEPS and NIESR assigned researchers on Tuesday November 24th at 12 p.m. (ΕΕΤ).

The study results will be discussed by: 

Yiannis Stournaras, Governor, Bank of Greece,

Christos Staikouras, Minister of Finance,

Euclid Tsakalotos, former Minister of Finance, Hellenic Republic, 

Evangelos Venizelos, former Deputy Prime Minister & former Minister of Finance, Hellenic Republic.

The study will be presented by: 

Cinzia Alcidi, Director of Research CEPS,

Corrado Macchiarelli, Principal Economist NIESR,

Cyrille Lenoel, Senior Economist NIESR.

The conversation will be moderated by Pavlos Tsimas, journalist.
