“The Greek Economy after the Closing of the 3rd Adjustment Programme”

“Under the Auspices of H.E. the President of the Hellenic Republic Mr. Prokopios Pavlopoulos”

The Conference

The aim of the 2nd International Conference organized by the Economic Chamber of Greece was to bring together political and economic specialists that would provide insight and develop ideas on the future of the Greek economy, post the adjustment programs. By attracting the highest caliber speakers and panelists, both from Greece and abroad, the conference focused on discussing examples from other countries that have had a similar experience and explored Greece’s existence without an adjustment program. A special panel discussion towards the end of the conference elaborated on the role of the banking sector throughout this process and the need for a new productive model that would lead the country to growth. Given the timing of the conference- soon before the closing of the 3rd adjustment program- and the important role of the participators in the Greek and European economy in general, this conference was a must attend event for all economic and finance professionals.
